The San Luis Obispo Children's Museum offers three floors and an outdoor playscape with hands-on exhibits for children ages two to ten. Visitors explore interactive displays while participating in activities like leaf texture printing, nature weaving, and seed exploration. The museum schedules field trips Monday, Thursday, and Friday mornings for groups of ten or more at discounted rates. Located at Nipomo and Monterey Streets, the museum reduces admission costs through multiple programs. SNAP or EBT cardholders pay three dollars per admission for up to four visits. Bank of America cardholders receive free admission the first weekend of each month. Members of reciprocal children's museums receive half off admission for up to six guests.
