About DaysOut

What DaysOut is

DaysOut helps families find things to do in California and pay less to do them: theme parks, water parks, zoos and aquariums, museums, bowling alleys, trampoline parks, farms, historic sites and more. For each attraction we show what it costs to get in, when it is open, any saving the attraction itself is offering, and what is on this month — and where every one of those lines came from.

It is a directory, not a ticket seller. We do not sell tickets, take commission on them, or list resellers. Every link on an attraction page goes to the attraction’s own website.

Who runs it

daysout.com is operated by Digital Rewards Group Limited, the company named in our privacy policy and responsible for the data on this site. The same team builds kidseatfree.co.uk, which applies the same method — read it on the venue’s own site, quote it, date it — to family dining in the United Kingdom.

How every line is checked

We go to the attraction’s own website, never a reseller, coupon site or review platform. We find the sentence that states the price or the saving, we reproduce it exactly, we link to the page it is on, and we print the date we last read it. A re-check runs six nights a week; a line that is no longer on the page is withdrawn. The full rule, including what we refuse to publish, is on How we check every deal.

What we deliberately leave out

• No prices or hours we have not read on the attraction’s own site. A gap is left empty, never filled in.
• No expiry dates. Only a fifth of offers publish one and those are unreliable, so we print when we last checked instead.
• No star ratings, reviews or photographs taken from Google or review platforms. A picture on an attraction page is from the attraction’s own site or is labelled as ours.
• No membership pitch on the directory. If you already have a DaysOut account, the login is in the header; nothing here tries to sell you one.

Where it stands today

1,271 California attractions listed, 549 of them running a saving we have read on their own website, 2,077 verified savings in all, and a page of attractions that are free to enter. Data last published September 6, 2026. California is the first state; others follow.

Tell us when we are wrong

Attractions change their prices, and a directory that never admits it is not worth reading. Every listing links to the exact page we read, so you can check it in one click. If a line here no longer matches that page, the contact details in our privacy policy reach the people who maintain the data, and the nightly re-check will withdraw a line that has gone.
