About Avila Valley Barn

Avila Valley Barn is a working farm in San Luis Obispo where families pick their own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch, navigate hay mazes, and ride tractors through the orchards. Visitors hand-feed friendly farm animals at the feeding corrals, enjoy pony rides during scheduled pop-up times, and browse the Gopher Glen Apple Orchard. The on-site Chicken Shack and Smoke House serves slow-smoked meats and comfort food, while the bakery offers hand-rolled pies and fresh baked goods made daily in the country kitchen. A corn roaster stand and Sweet Shoppe provide additional food options. The barn also stocks fresh locally grown produce and seasonal flowers available for U-pick. Families can spend an afternoon or full day exploring the various activities, with the barn located off Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo County near Avila Beach.
