The Pismo Beach Whale Express features an enclosed cabin and focuses on marine wildlife viewing, where visitors may spot humpback whales, gray whales, dolphins, sea otters, sea lions, and sharks. Both tours depart from Harford Pier at Port San Luis Obispo and involve walking an uneven historical pier and descending twelve steps to the boat dock.
