Avila Beach Ocean Safaris offers guided whale watching and marine wildlife tours departing from Port San Luis Harbor on California's Central Coast. Visitors board small-group ocean safaris led by experienced Captain Vincent Shay to observe humpback whales, gray whales, dolphins, sea lions, sea otters, harbor seals, and seabirds in their natural habitat. The company operates signature Whale Watching and Wildlife Safaris as well as Private Ocean Safaris tailored for families, photographers, and special occasions. A Coastal Discovery and Wildlife Tour provides scenic family-friendly viewing in Port San Luis Harbor and along the waters between Avila Beach and Pismo Beach. The tours employ responsible wildlife viewing practices and suit visitors of all ages interested in observing marine life on the Central Coast.
