aerial view from biplane — photo from the venue's own site
Biplane Rides Pismo Beach - Banner Airways operates scenic and aerobatic flights from Oceano County Airport using vintage military aircraft. Visitors experience aerial tours along the Central Coast from the open cockpit of restored biplanes. The fleet includes a 1942 Stearman, a World War II trainer that accommodates up to two passengers and offers both scenic and aerobatic options. The company also operates two 1975 Pitts S-2A aerobatic biplanes, each carrying one passenger, with aerobatics available upon request. A 1956 T-6/SNJ-4 WWII trainer rounds out the aircraft collection, seating one passenger and featuring scenic and aerobatic flight choices. Pilot Jorden Hevle, who took over the operation in 2018 with his wife Kandis, comes from a family aviation lineage and has operated Banner Airways from Oceano for three decades. The yellow biplane has become a recognizable fixture along the Pismo Beach coast.

The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
