About Huntington Harbor Light House

Huntington Harbor Light House is an active navigational aid built in 1912 at the entrance to Huntington Harbor. Visitors reach the lighthouse by taking a short boat ride from Goldstar Battalion Beach dock, enjoying scenic harbor views along the way. Upon arrival, guests participate in a guided educational tour, explore the interior of the lighthouse, and have the option to climb the tower for a unique perspective of the surrounding water and shoreline. The lighthouse is listed on the National Historic Register and operated by the Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society, formed in 1985 to preserve the structure. Tours operate on select Sundays throughout the year, with departure times and availability published on the venue's website. Tickets are sold online. Children under age five are not permitted for safety reasons, and visitors must wear fully enclosed flat rubber-soled shoes. The lighthouse is located in Huntington, New York.
