About The Heckscher Museum of Art

The Heckscher Museum of Art features exhibitions including Eclipse of the Sun Now, celebrating the centennial of George Grosz's iconic 1926 painting, alongside Modern Art from the Collection, 1910–1945 and Cornucopia: Still Lifes from the Collection. Visitors explore galleries Thursday through Sunday, enhanced by a free digital guide available through the Bloomberg Connects app with content in forty languages. The museum offers verbal descriptions for visitors who are blind or have low vision, tactile stations for select artworks, large print wall labels, wheelchair access, and ASL interpretation at events. Spanish-language wall text, docent tours, and family hours accommodate the area's Spanish-speaking community. Portfolio Review Night connects high school students with college admission counselors from major art schools. The museum is located in Huntington, New York.
