The Conklin Farmhouse and Barn is a museum in Huntington, New York, where visitors tour a house built around 1750 and view artifacts displayed across period rooms. Docents guide guests through spaces decorated to illustrate Colonial, Federal, and Victorian eras, including original rooms where the Conklin family lived for over 150 years. The house contains furniture and the bed the Conklins slept in. An adjoining Memorial Room, expanded in 1955 and dedicated to the Andrus T. Valentine Memorial, serves as an exhibit hall displaying rotating collections. Past exhibits have featured jewelry, Huntington pottery, clocks, hats, dolls, trains, and toys. Visitors learn about David Conklin's imprisonment by the British in 1777 and the life Sybel Conklin and her children maintained during his absence. The property includes a barn built in 1830, relocated here in 1990. Group tours are available by appointment.

The Conklin Farmhouse and Barn publishes its own offers, and when huntingtonhistoricalsociety.org was last read there was none.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
