Lyndhurst Mansion overlooks the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, as one of America's finest Gothic Revival houses. Designed by Alexander Jackson Davis, the estate features the mansion's original decorative arts collection alongside park-like grounds and picturesque gardens. Visitors explore the house through guided tours, walk the estate independently, or attend special events including craft shows, concerts, and theater performances. The Museum Shop, located in the former Carriage House, sells local history books, seasonal merchandise, jewelry, and decorative items. Free parking is available on the grounds with tour or grounds pass purchase. The estate is easily reached by train or car from New York City.
