Hospital of Emotions transforms a former hospital building at St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus into an immersive art exhibition where 70 artists reimagine 80 hospital rooms across four floors as emotional worlds. Visitors move at their own pace through operating rooms, patient rooms, emergency bays, nurses' stations and corridors, each space completely transformed by a different artist exploring emotions including joy, love, fear, anger, hope, sadness, gratitude and resilience. Artists work with existing architecture—walls, ceilings, floors and furniture—creating fully immersive installations where the building itself becomes the artwork. There is no guided tour; visitors wander freely and discover artist statements in each room. The exhibition suits all ages and welcomes families with children under four, who enter free.
