The Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton presents performances, visual art, and classes in a historic mansion and surrounding gardens. Visitors attend concerts ranging from barbershop harmony and swing to country, rock, and world music, with recent programming including The Orange Empire Chorus, The Matt Mauser Big Band, and Roopa Mahadevan's Carnatic vocal performances. The venue hosts Electric Company Theatre productions and offers yoga classes in the Main Gallery. Beyond performances, the grounds feature a Sculpture Garden and Sunset Garden accessible to the public at no charge. The center provides art classes for various skill levels and presents rotating exhibitions in its indoor gallery space. A beer and wine bar operates during performances, and outdoor concert attendees may bring their own food and drinks to the amphitheater. Visitors find parking available on-site, and the mansion and gallery operate set weekday hours for those exploring the indoor spaces.
Admission is free. The venue says: “The outdoor Sculpture Garden, Sunset Garden and grounds are free and open to the public everyday, no tickets or reservations are required.”
