About Dolby Theatre Tour

The Dolby Theater Tour in Los Angeles lets visitors step past the red carpet to explore the home of the Academy Awards. During a tour, guests see an Oscar statuette, visit the Dolby Lounge where celebrities gather backstage, view exclusive images from past Academy Award ceremonies and the Governor's Ball, and stroll down Winners Walk as Oscar winners do. The theater, inspired by European opera houses with state-of-the-art technical capabilities, has hosted performers and events including the iHeart Music Awards, America's Got Talent, the ESPY Awards, American Idol finals, and movie premieres in Dolby Atmos and Vision formats. Guests also access the VIP section and see the orchestra pit during their visit. Tours run on selected days with times published on the venue's website approximately one month in advance. Tickets are sold online through Ticketmaster. Children under 3 enter free, providing savings for families with young children.
