Griffith Park & Southern Railroad operates miniature antique trains on over one mile of track through Griffith Park in Los Angeles. Visitors ride in passenger cars pulled by vintage locomotives across a bridge, through forest, and past the Old Western Town. The attraction also features a T-6 simulator ride for guests of all ages. The trains themselves are miniature antiques running on modern fuel, with detailed passenger cars and locomotives operating on the park's dedicated track system. The facility hosts seasonal special events including Easter-themed train rides with the Easter Bunny, Halloween programming, and a holiday lights train ride. Party and picnic area reservations are available in outdoor enclosures throughout the park. A second location, Travel Town Railroad, operates at another Griffith Park address. The railroad has served families since 1948 and continues as a sightseeing attraction within Los Angeles's Griffith Park.
