Conrad Weiser Homestead is a Pennsylvania state historic site in Womelsdorf that interprets the life of Conrad Weiser, an 18th-century German immigrant who served as an Indian interpreter and shaped Pennsylvania's colonial Indian policy. The 26-acre property contains seven buildings where visitors explore how Weiser lived and worked. Living History Sunday events demonstrate open-hearth cooking in the Springhouse kitchen, offering insight into 18th-century foodways. Candlelight tours guide visitors through various scenarios with knowledgeable interpreters bringing the past to life. The Education Center hosts fall lectures covering topics like the German Regiment. Memorial Park includes walking paths for exploring the grounds. The Conrad Weiser House itself is a designated National Historic Landmark, one of only about 2,500 such sites among the country's 90,000 registered historic places. The homestead welcomes visitors interested in colonial Pennsylvania history and frontier life.
Admission is free. The venue says: “Free Admission”
