Amish Farm and House, established in 1955, is Lancaster's original Amish educational farm museum and the first Amish-focused tourist attraction in the United States. Visitors explore a traditional Amish homestead to learn about farming practices, craftsmanship, and daily life. The 15-acre property features a self-guided farm tour along maintained paths past rustic outbuildings and interactive exhibits, including a water-powered pump and one of Lancaster County's last remaining lime kilns. Guests encounter friendly farm animals such as horses, goats, and a Highland Steer, and can feed them treats. A guided house tour covers the 1805 farmhouse, where visitors see Amish clothing and unique household items while learning about Amish history, religion, and culture. The Amish Bus Tour combines a scenic countryside drive with farm exploration and optional farmhouse tour. An Amish Christmas Cookie Tour visits three Amish homes. The attraction suits all ages and is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, easily accessible from major cities along the East Coast.
