Lebanon County Historical Society houses the Stoy Museum, where visitors tour exhibits including Historic Lebanon County in Photos on Saturdays at 10:30 or by appointment. The Hauck Research Archives provide floor research access to the library and archival collections for genealogy work and historical inquiry. Children receive free floor research access to these archives, while adults and students pay daily rates. The Society also operates the Union Canal Tunnel, the oldest existing transportation tunnel in the United States, once part of a canal linking Reading and Harrisburg. The museum hosts special events including trivia nights and a Christmas Open House, with Sunday programs free to the public. The Society opens Wednesday through Saturday and provides children with complimentary library and archives research access.
