About The Hershey Story Museum
The Hershey Story Museum traces Milton S. Hershey's life, his chocolate company innovations, and the town he founded in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Visitors explore permanent museum exhibits and rotating special exhibits that detail his early business struggles and his revolutionary milk chocolate process. The museum presents how Hershey's orphan boys from the Industrial School became heirs to his fortune and explores his philanthropic legacy. The Chocolate Lab Class offers hands-on instruction in chocolate making for both adults and children ages five and up. A Scavenger Hunt guides younger visitors through exhibits designed with families in mind. The museum also features Tastings, where visitors sample Hershey chocolates. Permanent displays and interactive experiences appeal to adults, families, and children. The museum is wheelchair accessible with captioned videos and operates daily with seasonal hours published online. Admission prices vary by age and visitor category.
