The Hummelstown Area Historical Society Museum occupies the historic 1815 Parish House at the corner of Rosanna Street and North Alley in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. Originally built as Zion Lutheran Church, the brownstone structure has served multiple community purposes since its construction, including as a public library, reading room, and Sunday School facility. Visitors tour the museum to explore more than fourteen thousand artifacts that document two centuries of life in Hummelstown. The collection reflects the town's evolution from its founding by Frederick Hummel in 1762 through the present day. The adjoining Zion Lutheran Cemetery contains tombstones and inscriptions dating back generations, with a virtual tour and photograph gallery available documenting the graves. The cemetery grounds include a monument marking Frederick Hummel's final resting place.
