About Indian Echo Caverns

Indian Echo Caverns in Hummelstown is a cave system featuring underground geological formations displayed through guided tours led by professionally trained guides. Visitors descend into the caverns to view natural rock formations while learning about the site's geology and history. The tour lasts 45 minutes and maintains a constant temperature of 52 degrees. Above ground, Indian Echo Caverns offers a gem mill mining activity where visitors can search for minerals, a spacious gift shop stocked with rare minerals, educational toys, Native American artwork, and jewelry, and outdoor recreation including a free playground and petting zoo with goats. Picnic areas are available, with some covered spaces available by advance registration. The caverns suit families with children of varying ages and those interested in geology or Native American history. Tours begin daily at the gift shop, and tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
