About The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze: Hudson Valley
The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze: Hudson Valley is an immersive autumn event featuring more than 7,000 hand-carved, illuminated jack o'lanterns displayed throughout an 18th-century landscape in Croton-on-Hudson. Visitors meander through synchronized lighting displays set to an original soundtrack, discovering carved movie monsters, storybook characters, and life-sized dinosaurs along an extended path. The event includes a working carousel, a Pumpkin Planetarium, and a dance party with pumpkin characters. Additional attractions for visitors include the Gourd & Goblet Tavern and Headless Horseman's Hideaway, both requiring separate advance tickets, as well as a courtyard snack stand offering fall-themed treats and a gift shop stocked with souvenirs. All artisans hand-carved the pumpkins on site. The event runs select evenings and is recommended for all ages. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
