About Pinecrest Gardens

Pinecrest Gardens is a 14-acre botanical garden in Pinecrest featuring over 1,000 varieties of rare and exotic tropical plants and palms set among native tropical hardwood and cypress trees. The landscape includes natural streams, caves, and fissures. Visitors stroll through the gardens, attend guided tours, browse the art gallery, and take workshops or classes in activities like bonsai-making. A petting zoo allows children and families to interact with domestic animals including miniature donkeys. The gardens host cultural events, concerts featuring Grammy Award-winning jazz musicians, art exhibitions, festivals, and seasonal holiday celebrations. Movie screenings and theatrical performances take place on the grounds. Families can enjoy the playgrounds, splash zone play area, and picnic spaces. The on-site cafe provides food and refreshment.
