Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition is a not-for-profit organization that hosts an annual 21-day Youth Fair ranked among the top 35 fairs in North America. The event features more than 80 rides, carnival food, livestock and agricultural competitions, and live shows. Student exhibits showcase the artistic, academic and athletic talents of more than 44,500 public, charter, private and home school students through competitions displayed in Arnold Hall and Edwards Hall. Agricultural categories include horticulture, landscape design, youth poultry shows, youth rabbit shows and youth cavy shows. Open cattle show divisions feature Angus, Brahman, Brangus, dairy and Limousin categories. Student exhibit categories span clubs, fine arts, performing arts, crafts and culinary work. Throughout the year, the fairgrounds host more than 80 additional shows and events including vehicle shows, cultural festivals, trade shows and outdoor concerts. The fair supports youth achievement programs including scholarships and community service awards. Located in Miami, Florida, the organization serves the South Florida community while preserving agricultural traditions and fostering innovation.
