About Miami Beach Botanical Garden

Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a subtropical oasis in the heart of Miami Beach where visitors explore themed gardens at their own pace or follow suggested walking routes. The three-acre garden features the Entry Plaza, dominated by a massive Silk Floss tree and the Sabal Palm, which is Florida's state tree. The Bridalveil Plaza showcases seven Bridalveil trees with delicate, flowing leaves and serves as an orientation point with maps and QR-code tours. The Great Lawn spans 5,000 square feet of open green space, while the Japanese Garden includes a striking red lacquered bridge crossing a quiet pond, surrounded by bamboo, ferns, and other plantings. An interactive map helps visitors learn about plants and discover favorite spots. The garden hosts educational, wellness, and cultural programming including yoga classes, concerts, and community movie nights. The garden is free and open to all.
