About The Bass

The Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach features contemporary solo exhibitions including works by Yuko Mohri, whose installation Unviolated Imperfection uses sound as sculpture and explores decay as genesis through common and organic objects. Visitors engage with galleries presenting Sarah Zapata's large-scale textile works and tactile installations, Gabriel Rico's visual equations combining organic and inorganic items, and Abraham Cruzvillegas's Autocontusión, a walk-through installation reflecting on city and object lifecycles. The museum offers Bass Babies programs for infants and toddlers, Open Studio sessions where visitors create art, and The Bass Highlight Tours. A digital guide through the Bloomberg Connects app provides video highlights and gallery maps. Miami Beach and Surfside residents receive free admission with valid ID. Third Thursdays feature free admission from 6–9PM, Family Day offers free admission and art activities on the last Sunday of each month, and EBT cardholders receive free admission, with each SNAP card permitting four visitors. Regular admission is $15, with tickets sold online at thebass.org.
