Delray Beach Children's Garden

About Delray Beach Children's Garden

Delray Beach Children's Garden is a living classroom where children engage in gardening, environmental science, garden-to-table cooking, and herbal wellness through child-led play and experiential learning. Visitors explore a giant sandbox, smell and pick herbs, pick cotton, spot bugs and lizards, and splash at water tables while making crafts. The garden offers early childhood classes, homeschool programs, and open garden play where children build confidence and develop eco-conscious habits. Field trips are available, with scholarships provided for local Title I schools. Community service opportunities allow families to participate in meaningful environmental work. Programs run rain or shine, supporting healthy lifestyles and deepening understanding of ecosystems. The garden sparks curiosity and fosters connections to the natural world through hands-on outdoor exploration. Located in Delray Beach, Florida, it serves as a neighborhood resource for families seeking nature-based learning and play.
