About projectROCK

projectROCK is an indoor climbing facility in Oakland Park featuring sport climbing, lead climbing, bouldering, and rappelling on walls ranging from 40 to 60 feet tall. The 12,000-square-foot space includes 80 climbing lanes with over 10,000 holds across 125 routes set by professional route setters. Routes are color-coded and marked for all skill levels, with designs inspired by iconic climbing destinations throughout the Americas. The hand-sculpted walls recreate the feel and features of outdoor locations. Visitors can take belay classes to learn rope safety and climbing commands, or climb with a guide who handles the equipment. The facility also offers youth programs, kids camps, group yoga and fitness classes, birthday parties, and team-building sessions. First-time visitors must complete an orientation tour and waiver before climbing. Bouldering requires no instruction, though climbers should understand the risks involved.
