About Museum of Tolerance

The Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles uses exhibits and programs to explore lessons of the Holocaust and confront prejudice and bigotry. Visitors experience the Holocaust Exhibit, a 70-minute self-guided audio tour tracing events from the 1920s through 1945. The Social Lab features interactive exhibits designed to challenge assumptions about prejudice within oneself, communities, and globally. Anne is an immersive exhibit on Anne Frank's life and legacy told through her own words, rare artifacts, documents, and photographs. Witness to Truth displays photographs by Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Marissa Roth of over 100 Holocaust survivors who have shared testimonies at the museum. Para Todos Los Niños shares the story of landmark struggles by Latino families in Southern California nearly a decade before Brown v. Board of Education. The museum also hosts speaker series featuring Holocaust survivors and their descendants, film screenings, and special events. Each main exhibit takes approximately ninety minutes to complete. Group tours are available, and free underground parking is provided for visitors.
