The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach features multiple galleries displaying sea otters, sharks, sea jellies, frogs, and other marine life from Tropical, Northern, and Southern California waters. Visitors explore the immersive Jelly Dreamscapes exhibit showcasing sea jelly species and state-of-the-art animal care methods. The Harbor Terrace outdoor space includes the Moon Jelly Touch Lab, where guests can touch moon jellies and observe their reproductive tissues, an archerfish exhibit demonstrating the fish's water-spitting hunting technique, and a mudskippers exhibit featuring two amphibious fish species. The HoloTheater combines cinematic storytelling and holographic projection for immersive viewing experiences. A 45-minute harbor tour allows visitors to observe the downtown shoreline, ocean vistas, international ships, and sea lions. Whale watch expeditions into the Pacific Ocean seek whales, dolphins, seals, and sea lions with naturalist guides accompanying guests throughout the journey.
