Kerr Museum preserves the home of Dr. Thomas R. Kerr and his wife Jessie, documenting middle-class family life in late-nineteenth-century Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Visitors tour the gracious Victorian house to experience how a small-town doctor's family lived during an era of extreme wealth and poverty that often overshadowed the emerging middle class. The museum offers general tours by appointment, providing an intimate look at the home's furnishings, decor, and daily domestic life. The featured exhibit explores Pennsylvania's witch history, including local trials, folklore, and the blurred distinctions between healers and those with darker intentions. Evening and daytime tours focus on witch-related themes, local history, and period stories.
