About Inventionland Education

Inventionland Education in Pittsburgh develops Innovation Labs for K-12 schools, teaching innovation science through hands-on curriculum and invention contests. The program guides student teams through the process of designing and creating new products, culminating in competitions where they present to judges at the company's world headquarters. Schools work with Innovation Science Curriculum materials and professional development resources. Elementary, middle, and high school students participate in the same innovation framework, designing solutions and advancing through local and national contest stages. Student inventions have reached market success, with past participants' products licensed and sold nationally. The program combines real-world product development methods with classroom learning, preparing young innovators in science, technology, engineering and math skills. Teams present their inventions in-person or virtually to compete at the final stage. Inventionland Education serves schools across the country from its Pittsburgh location.
