Moonshot Museum is Pennsylvania's first space museum, offering visitors an up-close look at real lunar spacecraft under active assembly. Located at the headquarters of space robotics company Astrobotic in Pittsburgh, the museum features Astrobotic's Griffin Lunar Lander, which is being built on-site for a mission to the Moon's South Pole. Visitors engage with interactive exhibits exploring space careers available in Pittsburgh and beyond, learn about engineering a lunar rover, design their own mission patch, and cast votes on cutting-edge space law debates. The museum also operates a Lunar Simulation Lab where guests can go on their own simulated lunar missions. Field trip programs, summer camps, and special events are available for groups and families.
