About California Science Center
The California Science Center in Los Angeles is one of the nation's largest science museums, featuring multiple hands-on galleries and special exhibitions that explore science through interactive exploration. Visitors explore the Kelp Forest exhibit within the Ecosystems section, discovering undersea diversity alongside the Ecosystems Garden, which showcases Los Angeles's native habitats. The center offers IMAX movies including Antarctica 3D and Blue Whales 3D. Other exhibits include GAME ON! Science, Sports & Play and Life! Beginnings, which explores human development. The museum runs educational programs such as Big Lab Field Trips for school groups. General admission to the core exhibit galleries is free.
