Boney Island is a walk-through Halloween attraction in Los Angeles featuring larger-than-life skeleton scenes, magical illusions, live performances, and immersive experiences. Created by The Simpsons producer Rick Polizzi and Aqua Dazzle owner Rex Danyluk, the attraction entertained guests for over two decades with a focus on wonder and imagination rather than traditional scares. Visitors explore at their own pace through a world of mischievous skeletons engaged in various activities and antics. The attraction features live magic shows throughout the evening and Maestro Maxilla's Water Show, a choreographed performance combining music, lights, and glow-in-the-dark water effects presented every fifteen minutes. The experience includes no maze, no haunted house elements, and no jump scares. Most visitors spend between one and two hours exploring the grounds, though there is no time restriction on visits.
