About The Franklin Institute

The Franklin Institute is a science museum in Philadelphia where visitors explore three floors of interactive exhibits, watch live science demonstrations in Musser Theater, and experience planetarium shows in the 60-foot-diameter Fels Planetarium. The museum features the Body Odyssey exhibit, an immersive journey through human anatomy and wellness centered around the iconic Giant Heart. Visitors can explore the Wondrous Space exhibit, a two-story multisensory space dedicated to astronomy, and the Hamilton Collections Gallery, which displays rare artifacts including the Baldwin 60000. The Your Brain exhibit invites exploration of how the brain works, while SportsZone connects sports to human physiology and physics. Live science shows feature performers demonstrating scientific concepts through interactive experiments. The Holt-Miller Observatory is also included with admission.
