About Morgan Log House
Morgan Log House is a restored 1770s log house in Lansdale where visitors take guided tours through rooms furnished with antique pieces, metals, household implements and decorative arts from early Welsh and Germanic Pennsylvania traditions. Tours last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and are offered on weekends; the grounds remain open daily for walking. The house exhibits the lifestyle of working families who lived there as cloth makers across three centuries. The site features a gift shop with history-related items, offers special events including live music and trivia nights, and hosts educational programs throughout the year. Children under six enter free, and veterans receive a discount on tour admission. The grounds provide space for picnics, and the visitor center is free to enter. Morgan Log House is a National Historic Site administered by the Morgan Log House Historical Society.
