The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia uncovers stories about the diverse people and complex events that shaped America's founding. Visitors engage with in-gallery talks led by Museum educators, hands-on activities, and replica artifacts they can touch. The museum hosts the living history event Revolutionary Philadelphia: 1776, which immerses guests in the fall of 1776 through period-costumed interpreters and demonstrations. Expert-guided walking tours explore the historic Old City neighborhood and Revolutionary-era sites nearby. Tickets purchased online or at the door are valid for two consecutive days. Children age 5 and under receive free admission. ACCESS Cardholders and SNAP recipients receive free admission at walk-up purchase.
