About Tesla Science Center
Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe occupies the historic grounds of Nikola Tesla's last remaining laboratory in Shoreham, New York. Visitors take scheduled guided tours of the site, walking the grounds to see the original laboratory building and standing at the base where Tesla's legendary tower once rose. The center explores Tesla's life, inventions, and the bold spirit of innovation that defined his work through its focus on his engineering achievements and scientific legacy. Programs include Metal for Tesla and Space Science offerings for educational engagement. The newly constructed Eugene Sayan Visitor Center, opening to the public on Fridays and Saturdays starting in early summer 2026, will provide expanded historical tours, STEAM programs for schools and community events, and exhibition space for artifacts and archives. The site preserves Tesla's remarkable contributions to science and technology while fostering learning experiences centered on invention and progress.
