About Manorville Historical Society

Manorville Historical Society operates a two-room schoolhouse built in 1929, where visitors can tour a vintage 1929 classroom. The building originally served kindergarten through fourth grade students in one classroom and fifth through eighth grade in the other, operating until the mid-1940s. The museum displays artifacts donated by local residents, including railroad items, objects from local businesses, and family items from past eras. A thrift shop, stocked entirely by donations, operates on Wednesdays and the first Saturday of each month, with proceeds supporting the schoolhouse's restoration and maintenance. Visitors exploring local history can examine the preserved schoolhouse and its period classroom alongside the museum's collection of regional memorabilia. The attraction suits families and history enthusiasts interested in early twentieth-century education and Manorville's local heritage. Manorville Historical Society is located in Manorville, New York.
