Hallockville Museum Farm preserves the agricultural history of the North Fork of Long Island through tours and exhibits centered on the Hallock Homestead, originally built in 1765. Visitors explore the homestead and learn how the Hallock family farmed the property for over two centuries. The museum interprets the immigrant experience of the early 1900s, when Eastern European farmers purchased land along Sound Avenue and transformed the community. Guests can tour the Cichanowicz farmhouse, built in 1930, and see transition houses including Aunt Frances Hallock's washhouse and the Hudson-Sydlowski house, which now serves as exhibit space and gift shop. These structures tell the story of Polish and other Eastern European families who arrived as immigrants and established farms in the region. The museum is located in Riverhead, New York, on the North Fork of Long Island.
