About American Airpower Museum

American Airpower Museum operates vintage aircraft including a flyable AT6 and WACO, alongside static displays, from the same Republic Airport runways where thousands of P-47 Thunderbolts and F-84 Thunderjets once launched during the Cold War and beyond. Visitors watch warbirds take flight and explore exhibits on aviation history spanning from the aircraft manufacturing era through present day. The museum hosts immersive WWII experiences including D-Day C-47 Airborne flight adventures and scenic flight rides in restored military aircraft. These hands-on programs let guests step into paratrooper roles and witness living history demonstrations honoring veterans. The setting occupies historic hangars at the former Republic Aviation plant in Farmingdale, where American fighter aircraft were designed and built throughout the twentieth century. General admission tickets sell online through the venue's website. Children three and under enter free with a paying adult.
