About Long Island Explorium
Long Island Explorium is a children's museum of science and engineering where visitors engage with hands-on STEAM exhibits and workshops designed to spark inventive solutions through a "fail forward" approach. The museum houses interactive activities across multiple exhibits, field trip programs for grades Pre-K through sixth, birthday parties with exciting interactive activities, and a family-friendly Maker Faire celebrating the Maker Movement. Programs serve families, students, and educators through curriculum emphasizing creativity, innovation, teamwork, and challenges with multiple solutions. The Explorium operates as Long Island's Family Maker Space, where families play, create, build, and grow together in the historic Chandlery Building in Port Jefferson Village.
