About National Warplane Museum

National Warplane Museum is dedicated to preserving and displaying significant historical and military aircraft while honoring United States veterans. Visitors explore a living collection that includes the C-47A Whiskey 7, a fully restored and operational D-Day transport, alongside rare warbirds such as the Antonov An-2R Colt and Douglas B-23 Dragon. The museum grounds feature WWII-era military vehicles including jeeps, trucks, and amphibious DUKWs, complemented by personal artifacts, uniforms, and photographs that connect visitors to the human stories behind the machines. Active restoration projects in the hangars allow guests to watch skilled volunteers and mechanics at work. The museum operates on an all-grass airfield and offers Living History Days with aircraft operations and military vehicle demonstrations, Flying Objects Kids Day with hands-on STEM activities and paper airplane building, passenger flights in historic aircraft, and Big Band Concerts in museum hangars. Guided tours are available pending guide availability. The museum is located in Geneseo, New York, in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York.
