About It's A Wonderful Life Museum

It's A Wonderful Life Museum occupies a temporary location in Seneca Falls while its original building undergoes construction. The museum displays rare items connected to the classic 1946 film, including original call sheets with doodles by the film's art director, the premiere program from the Globe Theater in New York City, and earrings worn by Gloria Grahame. Visitors can see handprints of Jimmy Stewart, Karolyn Grimes, Carol Coombs, Jimmy Hawkins and Jeanine Roose on display. The collection includes personal items from cast members, two paintings by Todd Karns, photographs from the set director, and a certificate presented to Frank Capra by Governor Mario Cuomo. An additional space features a free photo opportunity at the "You Are Now in Bedford Falls Sign" and exhibits about the museum's future expansion plans.
