Seward House Museum is the preserved home of William Henry Seward, a major nineteenth-century American politician who served as New York State Senator, Governor, U.S. Senator, and Secretary of State under Presidents Lincoln and Johnson. Visitors explore the historic house through guided tours led by knowledgeable staff, experiencing one of the largest original collections in the United States. The museum displays masterpieces of American art alongside special exhibitions in both the house and gardens.
