About Museum of Science & Technology

The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology in downtown Syracuse features 35,000 square feet of interactive exhibits designed to engage learners of all ages. Visitors explore hands-on displays while experiencing the state-of-the-art National Grid ExploraDome theater, which shows planetarium presentations including Syracuse Skies, Animal Kingdom, and Mission: Moon. Throughout each day, the museum offers STEM activities such as STEM Story Time, Exploring AI, and 3D Modeling & Printing. The museum runs numerous education programs and hosts field trips for groups. Sensory Friendly Kits are available at no extra charge for visitors with sensory processing needs, and Family Place provides a quiet area for families needing a reset. Wheelchairs, strollers, and walkers are welcome in all public areas. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 9:30 to 5, with hours published on its website. Tickets for ExploraDome films are sold online through the venue's site.
