Hidden Valley Animal Adventure near Varysburg is a safari park where visitors encounter approximately 350 animals representing 42 species across 63 acres. The park offers two main safari experiences: a guided tour aboard an open-air safari bus, or a self-drive tour through the grounds in your own vehicle. Both options allow visitors to feed animals with purchased grain. Beyond the safari, guests can visit the Small Animal Adventure walk-through area, where they encounter smaller, friendlier animals and newborns, and can feed koi fish. The park also features the Trailside Grill for food and beverages, and Bessie's Creamery for ice cream. Founded by dairy farmer Hans Boxler, who began with bison, elk, and a camel, the park opened in 2010 and now welcomes school groups, family visitors, and special events. Tickets are sold online on the venue's site, and operating hours are published there.
