Susan B. Anthony Museum & House in Rochester, New York features the National Historic Landmark home where the civil rights pioneer was arrested for voting in 1872. Guided tours run six days a week, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning at the Visitor Center, where visitors find a museum shop and small exhibit center. The red brick house, where Anthony lived from 1866 until her death in 1906, contains rooms where she strategized with reformers including Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Ida B. Wells Barnett. On the third floor, Anthony helped write the History of Woman Suffrage. Tours often sell out, so reservations are recommended. The museum offers group tours, school programs, virtual programs, and special events throughout the year. Visitors can explore Anthony's work on suffrage, abolition, education, labor, and temperance through the museum's programming. Admission is $3 through Museums For All.
