About National Museum of Mathematics

National Museum of Mathematics features Mathematics and the Art of M.C. Escher in its Composite gallery, showcasing more than sixty prints, drawings, woodblocks, and objects revealing the symmetry, geometry, and spatial logic behind Escher's work. Visitors explore dynamic, hands-on exhibits including the Zometool station and puzzle collections where mathematical ideas become experiences to see, touch, and investigate. The Museum offers programs for school groups, including field trips and in-school workshops, plus Math Encounters presentations and Family Fridays events. Programs span topics from recreational mathematics to advanced theory. Admission is charged; tickets purchased online at momath.org receive a discount compared to tickets bought at the door, which carry a one-dollar surcharge.
