Staten Island Children's Museum features twelve indoor and outdoor exhibits where children ages one and up engage in hands-on exploration and creative play. Visitors explore the new Explore Staten Island exhibit, experiment at water tables, build with wood blocks, and participate in Portia's Playhouse activities. The museum offers dance and art workshops, including Walk-In! Workshops like Plenty of Purples where young artists work with paints, markers, and papers. Science demonstrations, story times, and cooking programs such as ShopRite Kidz Cook round out the offerings. After-school programs, school break day camps, and summer camps provide extended learning opportunities. Birthday parties and field trips are available for groups. The museum is located in Staten Island, New York, and opens Wednesday through Sunday with hours published on its site.
